I know only the brave can handle this, but maybe you live in Nebraska,
and can get 10 people from Nebraksa to sign your petition. If they vote
for you you, you have a 5 to 1 advantage to beat the Chess NAZI.

Dear Marcus,
The issue is whether Mike Nolan, the overseer of
Nolanland at the USCF bulletin board, is a chess Natzee
(as Paul Kelly always called them in that wonderful old serial,
The Secret Code) or a chess fasci, a member of Caissa's Partito
Nazionale Fascista.
I think of Mike as more or a blackshirt type
than a brownshirtist. First, if you look at his body
build, you will see immediately that he is no
Obergruppenfuehrer Heydrich, the protector of Bohemia
and Moravia. For Pete's sake, just LOOK AT MIKE.
Anyone can see that.
Secondly, the idea of Mike in one of the nifty leather
Natzee outfits is an absurdity. But put him behind a bib
and a plate of pasta, he could have been a fine censor of La Nazione or
La Repubblica, making sure that Il Duce's name was
always spelled in capital letters.
Thirdly, although I grant a surface similarity between
Mike always toadying to the latest USCF leadership and the
Nuremberg masses screaming in tears for Der and their
Fuehrer, you have to say he would have been an
exceedingly rounded peg to fit into the angular holes
of any Riefenstahl film.
No, Marcus, you have to say that Mike is more a
feeding fasci than a dirty Natzee.
That, at least, is my view. Reasonable men may
differ on such issues.

| I know Nolan. Have met him personally. I think that Chess NAZI comes
from a lack of sympathy. He was banned himself, and he still won't send
me a password to the online USCF website. To me, Chess NAZI fits. It is
somebody who can't remember they were once locked out of directing
chess tournaments. So, they punish people like they were punished.
