According to Don Schultz, the Board had no say in whether or not Jennifer
was hired. I wonder how many people actually believe that, including our
Executive Director?

Yes, Jay Sabine is Harry Sabine's son. He applied for a position in
the membership department when it was advertised locally and was well
qualified for the position, as he was a 1600 player and had also been a
TD.

In fact, all of the membership department staff hired in Tennessee are
rated 1400 or higher and all are TDs, so the people answering the phones
and e-mail in Tenneessee are, shockingly, actually people who play chess
and understand how to run chess tournaments!
