| New Address for Sam Sloan
We are moving. My new address is:
Sam Sloan
1664 Davidson Ave, Apt 1B
Bronx NY 10453-7877
My new telephone number will be
917-507-7226
As my new phone will not be connected until Monday July 25, 2005, if
you wish to reach me before then, please call 718-949-2512 or call my
cell phone.
My cell phone number is 347-869-2465
My new apartment is just two blocks away from the Mt. Eden Avenue
Station of the No. 4 Train. I know the neighborhood well because my
girlfriend used to live just two blocks from there in 1972. Back then,
the neighborhood was entirely Jewish. Now, it is 100% Black. From 1974
to 1978 I lived just six blocks away at 1761 Eastburn Ave., Apt. A5,
Bronx NY. That was originally Bruce Pandolfini's apartment. Mike
Goodall inherited it from Bruce and then later gave it to me. It was
at one time a crash pad for chess masters. Among the famous chess
players who lived there in addition to Bruce and Mike were Nick
Maffeo, Jude Acers, John Grefe, Frank Thornally, George Kane, Walter
Dorne and a few others I cannot think of right now. Fabio La Rota and
Steve Brandwein also lived there while I had the apartment.
I lost the apartment while I was in jail in Afghanistan in 1978, so I
had no choice but to go live with my girlfriend, who then produced two
children.
Sam Sloan
P.S. I am getting both cable Internet service and telephone service
from Optimum Online at http://www.cablevision.com . Does anybody have
experience with this? I am a bit nervous about this because once
before I got cable Internet service and telephone service from the
same company and got burned badsly.

I figured it was about time for you to get evicted again for nonpayment of
the rent.

Sam Sloan, under his usual delusion that somebody somewhere in the
world actually cares, divulged:

OK then, .fm would be Federation of Micronesia. The "poczta" in the
e-mail address is Polish for "postage" or "post office," as any
philatelist must know.
