I have told this story to many people, about how I met this girl again
20 years later and she said that she could not remember me and had no
idea who I am. Almost everybody has concluded, as you do, that she
knew perfectly well who I was and did not want to admit it. In fact, I
told her that I thought this myself, but she kept insisting that she
really did not know who I was.

I reject your theory because she was very polite to me and did not
throw me out. She even allowed me to take three pictures of herself,
one of which I have posted on my website.

And you are wrong. I have never written anything about my affair with
her. I have not told you her name and will not do so either.

I stiull basically love this girl and hope to become friends with her
someday again.

As to how it is possible that she really does not remember me. back in
1984 she had a big fight or argument with her mother about me. She
told her mother about me but I believe that she did not tell her
father. It is possible that this traumatic experience caused a
complete block-out in her memory about me. I do not know the answer
but I hope to find out some day.
