| BILL BROCK'S RAMPAGE
Bill Brock is quite the advocate.
He begins by stating that the Executive Board
"needs zero child molesters." One supposes that he
expects this writer or anyone else to argue otherwise.
Mr. Brock is accused Sam Sloan of being a child molester without
offering any proof. To note the absence of proof is to be labelled as
being in favor of child molestation.
Mr. Brock's second assertion is that he is uninterested in the
views of non-USCF members about who should be on the Board. This is, I
submit, a position that will not withstand scrutiny, which Mr. Bock
himself surely understands. His tacit assumption is that a non-USCF
member cannot know as much as an USCF member and cannot thenceforward
articulate a program that makes any sense. His thinking is evidently
crude.
Now comes point three of Mr. Brock's intellectual product: this
writer AND ANYONE WHO VOTES FOR SAM SLOAN is "pro-kiddie f**king." We
consider this kind of charge to be despicable, but we do not wait for
any of the Brock-Kingston allies here to enter an objection.
Finally, in his latest effort, Mr. Brock offers website addresses
that may be concerned with a semi-pornographic American TV program
called "Pokemon." It is true that Mr. Brock is inspecting current
excreta of the popcult as a critic, but it also appears that he begins
to be obsessed with that which he would criticize.
I shall not consult these sites, having long ago lost all
interest in TV crazes.
