David,

There's nothing like a newsgroup for personal mythmaking. If there was
such an article, that's news to me --- my personal resources mainly
consist of a few thousand books and an old banjo.

Along similar lines, Phil Innes asked me yesterday what "my insiders"
had to say about the latest USCF gossip. The only insiders I have are
three house cats, and they aren't saying much.
