Well, we can all be guilty of under-researching our subject!

I would agree that Blair on Morphy would be a very interesting title,
especially with a suitable increment from Morphy's family ;)

To each his own area or expertise - elsewhere Larry Parr cites Russian
authorities which would make some contributions in the Oxford look slight. I
do not think this makes the Oxford a poor title, but it does qualify aspects
of it, so that we do not turn our Authorities into Bibles.

Its interesting to think that given any subject history, which single one
would you most like to read? And beyond that, which you might be most
tempted to attempt.
