This is rich. Larry Parr calls someone else a liar. I feel as if a
fish has stuck his head out of a pond and said to me "You're all wet!"

Absolutely right. And Sosonko was unable to verify that. He does not
remember. Oh, and Larry, remember that you yourself suggested that I
contact Sosonko. Shall I produce your exact quote?

No, it was to check on Parr's claim that Sosonko told him there about
the 1991 interview -- an important distinction. Alburt could not
remember any more than Sosonko, i.e. nothing definite. That took about
one minute. The rest of our conversation, approximately two hours,
=BD-hour on Saturday 5/28, 1=BD hours on Sunday 5/29, was spent talking
about Soviet chess, as Lev invited me to do some time ago, and the name
"Parr" never came up.

Go right ahead. Genna and I have been on good terms ever since we
worked together on an article for ChessCafe several years ago. Keep in
mind that I have the original e-mails still on my computer.
Also keep in mind that neither Sosonko nor Alburt has any desire to
get drafted into the Kingston-Parr Word War. I plan to respect that
wish and leave them in peace.
Also keep in mind that what they did or didn't say in 1994 has little
or no bearing on the real issue, i.e. Evans' lie in the 9/2001 CL. For
any meaningful defense, Parr must show that the 1991 interview was
"general knowledge" before 1998. So far, he can't even prove that he
himself, or Larry Evans, knew it before December 1999.

Sounds like you're sweating, Larry, and trying to deflect the heat.
Actually Dr. Blair's "stupid" questions in this thread have been very
much to the point, and Parr has been evading them. Blair is free to ask
me any questions he likes on this subject, either here or privately.
Unlike some folks, I will do my best to answer them promptly and
directly.=20
