My sincere apology. The last time I looked, which must have been at
least five years ago, you were deep in the 1400's. Since then you have
been at least 200 points stronger and my comment about the K-1 section
was clearly wrong.

I don't think it's out of line, when you complain about scholastic
chess not being "real", for me to compare scholastic chess with YOUR
chess. Put your moves where your mouth is. You can whine about Meyers
all you like, but the top players in his tournaments could take you
with a teaspoon. And yes, that's meaningful for me. Playing strength
is what I pay attention to. I want to see strong players coming out of
Pittsburgh, and all these scholastic organizers and teachers are giving
me what I want.
