I care.

And we all played bad chess once. Even Fischer did.

But not all these kids will play bad chess! And as a measure of the health
of the game in our culture, what do you propose we do other than take a look
at the future, as represented by these kids ?

Of course, some people don't care about the health of the game - is that a
fair appraisal of your personal viewpoint and your recommendation to others?
