A clue for the humorless who have no clue

| If I don't write "Gee" then tough luck...
but if I do then know that I am joking.
Got it?

It's unclear to me to whom Wlodzimierz Holsztynski
intended to address his comment or question (above).
But here's what Wlodzimierz Holsztynski wrote
directly to me in rec.games.chess.misc:
"And I am American in much much more important ways
too. But I felt entertained and amused by your
(Nick's) posts and quotes, it was nice."
--Wlodzimierz Holsztynski (11 May 2003, RGCM,
writing to Nick)
Thanks to Wlodzimierz Holsztynski for having expressed
his apparent appreciation of my sense of humour.

So your "clue for the humorless who have no clue" was not aimed at hopeless
morons?

Of course, Wlodzimierz Holsztynski has *completely snipped
my quotation* of Wlodzimierz Holsztynski expressing
his apparent appreciation of my sense of humour.
Please read that quotation earlier in this thread.
Please note that Wlodzimierz Holsztynski has *not*
attempted to dispute the accuracy of my quotation of
him, which can be confirmed in the Google archives.

Mr Rowland, I have to say that Wlodzimierz Holsztynski has
referred to me (and to many other persons) as an 'idiot'
many times, so his reference to me now as a 'hopeless moron'
seems to be a *comparative compliment*!
I previously have offered to make a wager for a very large
sum of money (with a legally binding contract) with Wlodzimierz
Holsztynski about an IQ test to be given to me and whether or
not its results would confirm Holsztynski's often vehemently
expressed opinions that I must be an 'idiot' or a 'moron'.
Wlodzimierz Holsztynski has refused to accept this wager
and continued his many insults and lies against me.
I have been quite amused when Wlodzimierz Holsztynski
(who has written that he has been living in the United
States for about 35 years) has boasted, at least by
implication, that he's clearly better than I am at
reading and writing English. Perhaps a few of the
worst trolls or the most racist readers here (yes,
I can cite a quotation in context if required on
that) would agree with Wlodzimierz Holsztynski.
Of course, Wlodzimierz Holsztynski has long shown
himself to be one of the most abusive trolls in
the chess newsgroups. It's to their discredit
that American writers such as Taylor Kingston
(whom I have usually respected when he has written
on chess history, though not on some other subjects)
apparently prefer to turn a deliberately blind
eye to Wlodzimierz Holsztynski's many abuses.
