It would appear to be, ah, no.
I simply pointed out a likely fact -- Crossville's attorney indicated that they
would sue to enforce what they felt was a viable contract. Our attorney felt
otherwise, and I believe I posted my confidence that we would prevail or suffer
only minimal damages if a suit were pursued many months ago. Regardless, if
they sued, we would have had legal fees to pay, and I believe they would have
been higher than defending the Sloan pro se suits.

Beatriz is not the executive director, she is the chief operating officer.
However, having Beatriz at the office allows us the luxury to put off having an
executive director for 2 or 3 months. Interestingly, the person pushing hardest
right now to get a permanent executive director hired and on the job is Beatriz
-- she's worn out from working her actual job and putting in all these hours at
the USCF offices.
Beatriz' expenses are not income, they are not salary. They are payments for
things like airline tickets and hotel rooms. Beatriz has spent thousands of her
own dollars and volunteered hundreds of hours of her time for the USCF, and to
suggest that she is getting some largesse is unfair and wrong.
