Phil, I do not support this particular statement by Neil. I
personally have never heard or seen any remotely anti-Semitic statement
on your part, either publicly or in our private correspondence.
I know little or nothing of the issues involved in your ongoing
dispute with Brennen, I take no side in it, I want no part in it. Leave
me out of it. I wash my hands of the whole affair.
Lastly I offer a general guideline: Any statement I may make in
support of any person, thing, statement or idea does not imply total
support, any more than a contradiction or criticism I may offer implies
total hostility. The support or criticism applies only to the specific
matter at hand at that time.
I trust this makes my position clear.

Jewish friends also find it a tad strange. Then they make jokes about no
Celt even possibly being as able an anti-semite as they are themselves.

Really?
I dislike your characterization extremely - to call resenting this stalking
character's compulsive and intrusive hate-speech 'a dispute' seems to
condone it as equivalent to decent and respectable speech.

Yes, clear, but no better accepted. But since you would 'wash your hands' of
this subject, I will also discontinue writing with you.

Dear Mr. Kingston,
your tactic was not successful. You tried to save your friend with big
appetite, Mr. Brennen and avert the discussion on other side.
But we can talk about that thing, too, if you like. There are to simple
questions to check your position towards racism:
1. Do you like Serbs?
2. Do you like anybody who doesn't belong to WASP?
Regards,
Goran Tomic

Unlike Mr. Tomic, I will answer these direct questions directly.
1. I have not known many Serbs, but those I have met seemed decent
people. Several have attended my local chess club. We got along very
well. So the answer so far is yes.
2. If by "WASP" you mean the Los Angeles area heavy metal rock band
led by Blackie Lawless, I have never met any member of it and so have
no basis for comparison. Based on what little I know of their music,
lyrics, and performance style, it all seems rather over the top.
If instead you mean "White Anglo-Saxon Protestant": Yes, I like many
people not belonging that ethnic/national/religious aggregate. I have
friends of virtually every color and creed, from many different
national origins. America is a very diverse country, and one learns to
get along with all kinds of people. At least some of us do.

Hmm, my Jewish friends thought it strange you posted a lighthearted

Of course we could 'chill' on the issue. Courts are cool, no?

Phil,
Get a grip. Take a break. You are losing it.
If you think anything I have written about you is in any way worthy of a
suit, keep in mind that the motion will be made that loser pays all costs
associated with the suit.
File away, big fella.

Do you think the court will regard your charming little remark in a
Holocaust denial thread as "cool"? Or that they will find as "cool" the
"decent" and "humanitarian" (your words) postings of your associates
Dr. Rolf and Goran?

The really pathetic thing about this, Your I-ness, is that I've never
accused Taylor Kingston of endorsing any of your Philth, despite his
evident friendship with you. I've accorded him the respect you seem to
be unable to give him.

Is this your statement, Randy Bauer?
"I'll take the Chess Historian over the Internet Grandmaster any day"
which you wrote in public on 3/14/2005
(a) Are you as a USCF Official choosing to actively endorse this fellow
Brennan's writing; a person who writes non-stop defamations of other people.
And (b) Did you think Brennan's hate-speech supported by the law?
quote:
> File away, big fella.
Well, perhaps! I wish to know if this is simply your personal view as a
chess politician who happened to mention what he likes or dislikes about
public writing, or an official view of USCF?

So you DO know how to properly attribute quotations! Which means you
can provide the EXACT reference in the writing of George Orwell for the
following remark:
"Good God! He is perhaps the only American writer of note after
Clemens."

Philth, you are aware that "hate-speech" is a phrase that is usually
applied to racist or antiSemitic remarks? (If you don't know what
"racist" and "antiSemitic" mean, look up the postings by your friends
Dr. Rolf and Goran.) Unless you can provide proof I've made such
remarks, I'd advise you to cease and desist using that phrase
"hate-speech" in reference to me; it's libel.

I am not the USCF, Phil. If I were presenting a USCF position, it would be in
the form of a motion, to be acted upon by the Executive Board. If a majority of
the Executive Board approved that motion, that would be an official position of
the USCF.
You wish to read way too much into a pedestrian statement on a newsgroup. I
know very little of the Chess Historian's writings about other people because I
have, by choice, skipped all the back and forth posts between the two of you.
You, of course, were not mentioned in the above statement and your belief that
this somehow involves you continues to mystify me.
