Larry Parr knows that I posted an estimate. Larry Parr knows that there
are a number of areas where the USCF will benefit from a lower cost
environment in Crossville.

Larry Parr knows that a contract with the Crossville architect was signed
not by the current USCF Executive Board, but by Frank Niro, which was 2
executive directors ago. Larry Parr also knows that the current executive
board renegotiated that $60,000 contract down to a lower number. Larry Parr
will not fully disclose these things because.... well, you can draw you own
conclusions.

Meanwhile, what difference does it make if the Crossville architect and
Harry Sabine are best friends or only nod at each other at the local Rotary
meetings? The Crossville architect's work appears to be good, he has been
receptive to renegotiating a contract that the USCF, through ED Niro,
entered into willingly. What exactly would Larry Parr have had this Board
do, impair the contract? Perhaps Sam Sloan could then have defended us in
court?

In other words, Larry Parr just wants another mole on the Board, there to
feed him whatever inside information Larry wants and needs. What a great
way to run an organization. Me, I'd prefer people who hold a steady job,
make their monthly mortgage payments on time, and sock a little money away
for their kid's college and retirement. Those sound like the sorts of
values that will serve the best interests of the USCF.
