Each month, on my blog,
http://journals.aol.com/jamesrynd/FunWithChessProblems, I run a small
competition using chess problems I have created. They are friendly to
the OTB player as well, using positions one might find in a game - one
of my goals: to bridge the gap between problems and the game. These
problems are definitely chess problems, not combination puzzles or the
like, but you wouldn't find them in most specialist magazines.

A small book prize is given each month to the winner of the
competition. This month, the deadline for submitting solutions to me by
email will be March 15th. Any questions can be directed to my email
account as well.
