Smiling is approved - in fact you have to. Hunger is also approved. Hunger
strikes are not. Neither are they approved here.

According to my records only 2 western news agencies carried the stories
about mostly women on hunger strike in Kalmykia, and that only for two days.

The women asked, "why should we [peasants] support you rich Westerners for
chess?"

We are still thinking about our reply.
