Smiling is approved - in fact you have to. Hunger is also approved. Hunger
strikes are not. Neither are they approved here.
According to my records only 2 western news agencies carried the stories
about mostly women on hunger strike in Kalmykia, and that only for two days.
The women asked, "why should we [peasants] support you rich Westerners for
chess?"
We are still thinking about our reply.
