| Regarding your son Kevin, I did not jump to the conclusion that his
rating was not corrected. You told me that the USCF told you that
there was no need to make any corrections to your son's rating because
it had already self-corrected. Tell me Kevin, did you question the
accuracy of that conclusion when your son subsequently hit the 1900
floor and remained stuck there for a year and a half?
My conclusion that your record was not corrected results from the fact
that you still had the 2200 floor three years later. I would not
consider that jumping to a conclusion.
Can you remember who at the USCF told you about the corrections Kevin?
You told me before that you dealt with Ernie Schlich, but he did not
recall the situation. Maybe Ernie deals with cases involving
twenty-two bogus tournaments and ratings manipulated by 300 points so
frequently that it is not the kind of event that would stick in his
mind. It would be nice if any one at the USCF could confirm your
version of events.
Also Kevin, could you tell me how you knew that any corrections had
been made given that you were so unaware of the impact of the bogus
tournaments that you never noticed that your son's rating and floor had
received boosts in the neighborhood of 300 points?
