Here's how it really goes:

Schultz and Company nearly destroyed the Federation.

Now they want a say in how to "save" it.

Using name recognition and Goichberg's influence and money to get elected,
with a bunch of brain dead voters, Schultz did manage to get back on the
board.

He tried to corrupt Beatriz (more).

They had a fight.

Now we are getting about the business of pushing the Federation back to
where it belongs: namely, standards and practices. No money in that. Fewer
thieves will be attracted.

I'm afraid that drug testing is not an issue worthy of a stand.

Drug testing is NECESSARY.
