In order to be fair to Kevin, I should note the fact that he me told
that "as soon as [he] became aware of the personal impact on [him] that
[he] voluntarily surrendered [his] floor and life master title."

I would note, however, that it seems to have taken him quite awhile to
become aware since he posted this on May 20, 2001: "I am a life
master, a long-time volunteer at adult chess clubs, a Senior TD, I
trained other TD's, a state association president, and a chess
volunteer in many ways."
