Deep breath please everyone!
While the mail in question came to my chess only PO box, Mike Nolan has been
unable to clearly link the addressee name to a USCF record. I have been unable
to locate the membership number for the name in question from my old tournament
printouts.
The most likely "hit" is a child whose membership lasped several years before I
got the PO box in the summer of 1997.
Investigation continues.......If Mike and I get a clear resolution I'll post it
here.
For now Peter Leko is alive but fishy.
