Well, it depends what "logic" you mean. Good manners are perceived
differently in different modern countries, not to mention different
continents, cultures and civilizations. Good manners are different in such
countries as USA, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia,
Spain etc.
However during a tournament game of chess you should follow specific rules
of behaviour otherwise you will be disqualified.
BTW I have one question to you Matt : is your e-mail address OK ?
