Jerzy Ciruk seems to act (not only in relation to Randy Bauer) as though he
has the moral authority to be the supreme arbiter of 'manners' on Usenet.

Mr Bauer, it seems to me that rec.games.chess.politics may have an even higher
proportion of pathological liars than usual in United States political life.

As I recall, when I described Sam Sloan as dishonest, Jerzy Ciruk responded by
denouncing me and proclaiming that there's no evidence that Sloan's dishonest.

"Sure, I take Sam Sloan as an honest man unlike anonymous 'honest' 'Nick'."
--Jerzy Ciruk (20 July 2004, in rec.games.chess.misc)

"Sam Sloan has more credibility as a journalist and as a man than any
anonymous coward like you 'Nick'."
--Jerzy Ciruk (24 September 2004)

Unlike Sam Sloan, I never have reported that Peter Leko was dead, and
unlike Sam Sloan (as far as I have heard about him), I have no criminal
record in any country.
