And such conceits as clownage keeps in pay,

Threat'ning the world with high astounding terms
And scourging kingdoms with his conquering sword.
View but his picture in this tragic glass,

d) of course; the other answers are silly

The best of TMB's era, or the best of his own era?
if the former, then a); but if the latter, then d)

Drunk. (No, not you -- the correct word)

IMHO a) and d) is excluded by simple logical reasoning and then judging by
age of "The Masked Bishop" the correct answer should be b)
OTOH maybe reasoning of "The Masked Bishop isn`t logical then maybe you are
right :-)
I must say that I find all these quizes/quizzies very funny :-)

The reason I have had so much trouble with these quizes is that:
a) I don't even know who TMB really is
b) I don't really care how many girlfriends Sam Sloan claims he has (or had)
c) there were no questions about Phil Innes
d) I prefer true/false, where the odds of guessing correctly are significantly
better than on a multiple-guess quiz
e) there are too many Tim's on this newsgroup (Just, Redman, Hanke, etc.)
f) the questions failed to conform to the Mensa model
g) Michelle Pfeifer distracted me
h) the questions were too hard for a numskull like me
i) I have not spent enough time at Sam Sloan's website
j) some random combination of the above

I have forgotten the screen name of Tim Just.
Can you please tell me what it is?

Sam Sloan says he has forgotten the screenname of Tim Just, and wants me to
reveal it to him. I cannot because:
a) I don't have a clue who Tim Just is
b) I signed an agreement with the CIA to keep his identity forever a secret
c) there is a worldwide conspiracy against all chess TD's
d) Randy Bauer and Tim Hanke won't let me
e) he ruled against me in a dispute in which I claimed a win on time in a K vs.
K position
f) I never knew his screenname
g) there are too many Tim's on this newsgroup
h) Sam is running for office, and the Freedom of Information Act prohibits this
invasion of privacy
i) Michelle Pfieffer keeps hitting my "backspace" key

I am quite sure Tim Just posts here rarely (although he is a lurker), and
when he does, he identifies himself clearly.
