CHESS TRIVIA QUIZ
(some questions may have more than one correct answer)

1. Sam Sloan is ...

a) a malicious liar
b) mentally ill
c) suffering from brain damage caused by illegal drug use
d) an ace journalist who sees things nobody else does
e) a schizophrenic who sees things nobody else does

2. People such as Larry Parr, George Mirijanian, and Phil Innes who show
respect for Sam Sloan's opinions are ...

a) equally malicious
b) guilty of astoundingly poor judgment
c) being blackmailed by Sloan
d) examples of "The Madness of Crowds"
e) open-minded to the point of being empty-headed

My answers are as follows:

1. "F" or none of the above.

2. "C"

The amazing thing is that Tim Hanke learned that Mirijanian, Innes and this
writer are all being blackmailed by Sam Sloan.. How did he know that anyway?

My understanding is that Phil Innes suffers from "The Madness of Crowds" and
must answer question two with option "D." Phil earlier took part in mass
demonstrations calling for war in the streets of London in July 1914 -- crazed
fool that he was in his youth.

George Mirijanian is like yours truly. Sam has been blackmailing him for secret
issues involving Chess Horizons involving the months of August and September
1968. The facts are so dark with the soot of wrongdoing that George frequently
wails in agony. But Sam Sloan still grinds poor old George's nose to the rgcp
wheel.
