Advance registrations until October 7th 2005. Later registrations are
admitted according to the available space and equipment.
Prizes: Shogi, chess, xiangqi, each: 1st prize 300 euros; 2nd p. 170
euros; 3rd p. 85 euro. Depending on the pairing method, these prizes
may be given to the respective group winners. Go: total amount of
prizes 555 euros. Additional prizes in goods.
Equipment: Shogi and xiangqi games may be played with special teaching
equipment if agreed by both players.
Teaching: During the event various games will be introduced for free.
Free lessons are also available at Toppelius on Fridays 17-20
o'clock.

Championship
Tournament system depends on the number of players.

Tournament finishes on Sunday before 20:00 o'clock.
Entrance fee 10 euros for tournament players, 7 euros for the members
of The Friends of Shogi in Finland, 5 euros for others.
Prizes will be given after the last round of each tournament. If not
otherwise indicated in the tournament specifications, each player will
play at least four games (rounds). The final number of the rounds and
the time of the tournament finish depend on the number of players. Each
player has at least 15 minutes for the start of the game and 15 seconds
increment after each move (if digital clocks are available). The
starting times of rounds are approximate because the duration of rounds
may vary. The increment may be reduced during a game in the longest
games.
