Very good! But have a look at lesson 6, first diagram: it says A5+6, but
the King moves to the right (K=4).
And could you put more space between the chess board and the Answer box?
On Mozilla Firefox/Linux, every ninth file is overlapped by the box. For
example, you could give a higher number to "width=" in each diagram.
Or use CSS, and then you would only have to change one line. ;)

The problem with asserting that the horse moves in an 'L' is that students
almost invariably try to ell their way around an obstacle by taking the
_other_ ell that joins their position with their destination. I always
insist that anyone learning from me _not_ think of the horse as moving in an
ell, but as moving one point rectilinearly followed by another at an obtuse
angle; if they do so, then they will always see when they are blocked.
The instruction on cannon attack should indicate that the jump is over an
_intermediate_ piece, so that students do not mistake the attack for one
such as that in draughts (checkers).
Given the popularity of Western chess, it is good to note immediately that
pawns in XiangQi are not promoted.
