The specifications given in AXF's Xiangqi Tournament Regulations
handbook are as follows:

The board: each small square shall measure 3.5 cm. The background shall
be white
or of a light colour. The color of the grid shall be black, blue or
other dark colour. There shall be rmargins of appropriate width (not
specified) around the board.

The piece: the diameter shall measure between 2.5 cm and 2.7 cm. The
background shall be white or of a light colour. The characters and the
circles on the pieces shall
be coloured Black and Red, using an easy-to-read font style.
