| A visitor from Mauritius told me that a group of elderly Xiangqi
players are trying to revive this game by teaching the youngsters to
understand and enjoy the strategic game from ancient China, thereby
learning a bit of its culture at the same time.

Bravo. A recent issue of People's Day - Overseas Edition carries an
article, complete with 2 photographs, of a 103-year old in China who
plays Xiangqi daily. The author of that article played a game with that
103-year old and conceded defeat. So, the game may be enjoyed by both
young and old. Youhao, keep up the good work. David Li

Well, one has to use one's mind on a daily basis regardless of age. Why
not sharpen it with Xiangqi? David Li
