I noticed David Li's second book "Syllabus on Canon" is out of stock at
Amazon--is that a sign it's going out of print?

For reasons unclear to me, Amazon stocks two entries in my Premier Series
on Xiangqi, viz., First Syllabus on Xiangqi (ISBN 0-9637852-5-7, 1996) and
Xiangqi Syllabus on Elephant (ISBN 0-9637852-0-6, 2000), but not the others
(on Cannon, ISBN 0-9637852-7-3; on Pawn; and the recently published, on
Horse).

Assuming you are in the United States, perhaps you could approach Yutopian
Enterprises, which has a webpage and which carries all the above five
titles. Or you could write directly to the publisher

I take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in Xiangqi and in my
books on Xiangqi.
