200 move championship games!

| They are coming...
....computers are with the ability to think 20 moves ahead isn't all it
is cracked up to be.
Get ready for terms like "White has a molecular advantage," or "The
endgame appears won in 39-40 moves."
Also get ready for "White's novelty with 46. g8=N has flipped the
opinion of this opening line," or "Black invigorates an old opening
with a new idea as he plays 26...Bc2."
Chess computers are inevitably expanding each phase of the game. The
natural opening is now 30-40 moves, the middle game from move 40-80,
and end games can run well past 100 moves.
Many "solved" end games are anything but!

Many proud GM's are anything but.

That's why shorter time controls is the future of chess. Even is a line is
"solved", it's not necessarily an easy matter to prove this over the chess
board, in limited time.
