Author A call for 'tournament mode' in internet games

This is an improvement suggestion regarding Internet games, more specific
Internet Hearts (XP game).

I like to play Hearts online, but I dislike players quitting in the middle
of the game. This is more the case than players finishing their game. Of
course, they are allowed to do this.

Nevertheless, I think Microsoft could improve the gaming experience
substantially. For example by introducing a sort of 'tournament mode' in the
games. A new player must start at the bottom of the chain (beginner's level).
By playing and winning the player can increase his experience level, and play
harder opponents. Quitting a game should be equal to losing the game. This
way of working (or an alternative one) would discourage the enormous amount
of quitting during play, and increase playing experience for all.

Curious about reaction from other online gamers.
Hoping to see improvements soon...
