| Spider Solitaire will not allow me to save games, keeps saying 'Unable to
save game', this is so frustrating, could anyone help me please. Thanks.

Here's a suggestion I found with a Google Groups search:
"I found the solution to be (actually someone mailed me, thanks!) upping
my FILES= param in my config.sys. I'm not sure what the minimum is, but
my system runs fine with files=40."
One way to edit Config.sys is to click Start, Run, type "Sysedit" and
press Enter key.
