hi, I somewhat naievely loaded outlook 2002 on to a computer running windows
98se, it didnt work very well so I uninstalled it after a short while,
however it left me a legacy of problems all of which I have sorted out except
for the fact that freecell no longer works properly. I beleive this is due to
a little file in office xp called "Ctfmon.exe"
I have found this file in "windows/system" but it wont delete. However if I
press cont.alt.del. and highlight it then click end task it will cease
running and I can play freecell, but every time I restart the computer it
starts up again, does anyone know how to get rid of it for good? and is it
wise to, I am not running any other office xp programs.

You can disable the file from Startup; run MSConfig, click the Startup
tab, and deselect the file.
