When in the View Objects section, click View, Details. See if any of
the three above objects are damaged. You can also right-click one at a
time, click Properties and see what they are used for. If they're
codecs, that's fine. The one we're looking for, ZoneIntro Class, might
be one of the above listed objects if it's damaged. If so, just
right-click it, click Update.

You didn't happen to see what object was listed in the conflict folder
before deleting, did you?

Zone_Dat Fix. This should delete the path for the Zone install. Then
entering the Zone might prompt you for a folder name for the install.
I'm not sure it's intended for use with XP though; it was created in
1999. Still, you might want to try it, knowing it might be necessary to
use System Restore to get the machine working again. That's a
worst-case scenario, and I doubt that could happen since it deals
strictly with the Zone portion of the registry.

Make sure you turn off content blockers such as antivirus before trying
another install. With XP, you probably should use the Control Panel's
Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components, Games, Zone install before
trying an update. I would try removing the Zone, then reinstalling via
Add/Remove Programs before using the Zone_Dat.exe program above.

With System Restore, you can always go back to a date when the Zone
worked, but all software since installed would probably not work, and
virus definitions, etc. might be out-of-date.
