| I have a game on my computer I have been playing for years. yesterday when I
tried to open it, I got a - 16bit Windows Subsystem error-
(c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. This file is not suitable for running
ms-dos and microsoft windows applications).
I get this message everytime I try and run the game now, is there anyway to
fix this?
I never had the problem before, and I am not aware of any changes to my
system that I have made recently.

Did you recently get a Windows update? It may have caused the problem.
With WinME and WinXP you can run System Restore and select an entry
point listed on a date before the problem first occurred.
