| Hi, when I try to install Flight Simulator X, it says I don't have
Windows XP SP2. I just wanted to know what is Windows XP SP2 and where
do I get it. Thanks for your help.

| That is telling you that you need to go to the Microsoft site and d/l
the latest updates for your OS. SP2 is Service Pack 2, and FSX requires
it to run.

Get it by opening Internet Explorer. Select the Tools menu. Select
Windows Update and it will guide you to getting SP2.

| I've loaded the latest SP2 updates and I still get the SP2 message. I have
FS2002 and FS2004 installed already. Could this be causing a problem?

There is only one SP-2.
Are you sure you have it installed?
Right click My Computer and click Properties.
What Service Pack is listed on the 4th line under System?

| I don't think having the other two already on your computer should cause
the problem, since FSX loads into it's own grouping. If you already have
SP2 loaded, then I am not sure what could be causing the problem. I
would contact MicroSoft and present them with the problem. I'm sure they
can help you. They took care of a problem I had, with no hassle at all.
Good Luck....
