FS 2004: Instructor Console & Editor
|

| Hi,
Last year I bought the MS Combat Flight 3.1 only to be dropped out of the
skies because I had to spend more time trying to control the plane
(apparently it needed trimming otherwise it would just tend to go left and
down).
So, a few days ago I decided to put myself through fly school with FS 2004.
Nice although the terrain is a big disappointment even at 1280x1024x32 on my
NVidia 256MB card.
Anyway, while browsing the learning center I learned that it also "has" an
fsedit.exe (something like that) that allows the user to edit aircrafts and
the like. Also that there was another program called "Instructor Console"
where the instructor could monitor the flights and dynamically change
conditions (failures, weather). I found that very interesting.
I did find the Instructor shortcut on the Start menu but there was no
shortcut for the editor. How can I do that?

| FSEdit is part of the FS2004 SDK (Software Development Kit). If you download
and run the Aircraft SDK you will have FSEdit.
This allows you to edit config files of aircraft (flight parameters,
descriptions, effects, etc) and a few other things.
