Does anyone know of any problems with Sims 2 running after installing the
Windows XP home edition upgrade? I went from Win 98SE to XP and now my game
won't play.

Did that. Even tried downloading new drivers, direct x and some other stuff.
I worked with 98 but now won't work with XP. I have the same system as before
just different version of Windows.

I've never had trouble running it on XP, however my younger Cousin did,
when she installed it, it would install as far as 99% then freeze,
Don't think she ever figured out the problem! Afraid I can't help you
anymore than to tell you it's happened before!

OK, so you installed winxp to get rid of win98, if this is coreect ,the next
thing i would do is to so a complete un-install of Sims2 , and then
re-install Sims2 with winxp.

keep us posted.
