The IFR instructions indicate that the charts for the lessons are available
in the library. I can't locate the Chart Folder referred to. Anyone know
where the Jepp bag might be at?

Version?

Have you checked "\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator
9\Charts\Lessons"?

I'm running 2002 Professional but I ran searches for strings within the
program for charts, chart folder & lessons without a hit. Any other ideas?

Still no indication of which version of Microsoft Flight Simulator you
are running. Is it "Microsoft Flight Simulator, A Century of Flight" (FS 9)?

Have you actually looked for a "\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight
Simulator 9\Charts\Lessons" folder by opening a Windows Explorer window?
How many levels of that path (the separate parts between the slashes)
exist on your hard drive?

If you insist on using the search function try searching file names for
the Seattle/Tacoma airport code "KSEA", the "ARRIVAL" plates (2),
terminal procedures "VOR" or "ILS" or "SeaSectl" for the sectional.

You can see more of the Seattle sectional at http://skyvector.com/

For terminal procedures, the Seattle sectional, the Seattle terminal
area chart or L1 enroute chart try searching at:
http://www.myairplane.com/databases...dex.php?mode=d. some
functions at that site might work better with Internet Explorer.

No, running '02 Pro version prior to #9. I'll try that string from explorer
but don't understand why the program tells you to go to the chart folder in
"library" if it isn't there. I need to check the flight instructor program in
that version too. Just one of those strange things that go on in cyber land.
I've successfully flown the lessons without the charts for VOR & ILS anyway.

Oh, PS, the string available if going to program files goes only as far as
\flightsimulator2002\ so the rest of the subfiles you describe aren't there
to look at.
