Uninstall freezes on startup, the game won't start, microsoft demands a
product Id for help, but the only way to get that is to install or start up
the game.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator are SERIOUS
when they advise you to exit ALL other programs while installing the
simulator! You have to use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up the Windows
dialog that will allow you to one by one shut down ALL applications
except a single instance each of Explorer and Systray. Failure to shut
down other applications can lead to freezes during the installation.
Been there, done that, didn't even get the lousy tee shirt!

What version of Flight Simulator?

What Operating System (with version #)?

What Hardware configuration (CPU & MHz, main RAM quantity, Graphics
Accelerator, sound card)?

Driver versions for video accelerator and sound cards.

If OS is Windows, what version of DirectX is installed and what results
are given when DirectX Diagnostic (DXDIAG) video and sound tests are
run? Video & sound Driver versions and DirectX version will be reported
by the DirectX diagnostic.
