| Recently I had to reinstal my comp. I had 326 aircraft in all.... I'd
earlier saved my aircraft folder onto disk before I got this new comp.
I checked the discs after reinstallng fs2k2 to find some had cyclic
redundancy. I ended up with 100 planes. I now have about 170....
If youre one of them who write these viruses...damn you to the damnedest
damnation

Sorry about your problem. I have 3 planes I fly...all default, and I'm
as happy as a clam : )

You sorted out your crash-to-desktop problems?

Thank you for asking.
I've narrowed it down to large airports in the USA. It's not crashing
as much but it's still happening.
Now, I'm seeing anomolies appearing on the terrain (looks like moving
white dotted lines which disappear as I approach closer and
puddles/lines of light blue here and there) so I think it might be the
RealScene add-on enhancement software. I tried uninstalling and
re-installing the software but it gets worse when I do so. None of
this happens in Canada where I have the UT Canada installed.
Next month is my birthday and I think a new computer is in order. Mine
is 3 yrs. old and although it runs just fine, can't handle FS9 the way
I want it to (which is the way you want it to). Hopefully, I'll be a
happier clam then : )

This almost reads like a common problem that occurs after installing high
resolution terrain mesh. Install any terrain mesh recently?
The fix for this problem is what is called buffer mesh, which is a medium
resolution mesh that the sim uses for terrain midway in the distance.
FSGenesis now has buffer mesh to correct this exact problem.
