Are you aware by editing or replace the default FS texture is akin to
edit or replace the default scenery BGL file?

If you edit or replace BGL files, the sim will rebuild its scenery
index. If you edit or replace textures, the sim will try to display
them in the appropriate place, but it won't rebuild anything.
