I can't figure out how to operate the 1 & 2 throttle controls
simultaneously? No matter what I try they only operate
individually.Besides you using the mouse can anyone tell me what I'm
doing wrong and how I can correct the (my) problem?

Press the E1,2 (less the comma) and that should lock them together. I you
ever need to adjust engine 1 or engine 2 separately, press E1 or E2 but E1 2
should lock them together.

That gives me a clue why occasionally only one lever works. I must be
hitting the E1 key combination accidentally.

I believe just hitting E by itself will cause FS9 to
default to engine 1 control.

Inability to recover from this using E12, E123 or E1234
is often a sign that there is a misbehaving gauge on the
panel in use, resulting in throttle control "stuck" on
engine 1. There has been much discusion if this as well
as a fix or two on various forums.

I'm told by the creators of PMDG 737NG 600/700/800/900 is that the
throttles were not made to work together. That's why the E1,2 won;t
work. It's just FYI

"not made to work together"...??

That makes absolutely NO sense if one assumes that most
uses would have a stick (or yoke ) and throttle set-up
when flying FS9.

So, if I'm using my X-45 I can't advance both engine throttles
with the single handle of my X-45 throttle?

Paul,

PMDG was very patient with me and tried to be extremely helpful But
what i was told from PMDG is that the throttles will not work together
using a mouse as with all the FS9 planes. Here's a copy of the email I
recieved; ly. You would have to get a Throttle or use the F2 / F3
commands to get them working together.

Ahh... I missed that "with a mouse" in previous posts. I misunderstood
that they wouldn't "work together" but HAD to be advanced individually
with a mouse, thus negating the use of an external throttle like the
X-45.

This I can understand, as it's a matter of programming the throttle
gauge to have a zone where the code affects both throttles at the
same time. Apparently they chose to just have an independant
zone for each throttle and not have an additional "both" zone.

Thanks for that clarification.
