Ibby asks in another thread:

"I presume with any texture, landclass enhances the accuracy of tile
placements, making them more relative to the locality. Is it possible
to
get landclass files for the whole world rather than small pockets here
and
there at avsim. I understand there is a Genesis landclass, but is this
just
for USA/Canada?"

This is an important topic and deserves its own thread. Anyone with
experience of the World Landclass product? Meanwhile, here's a forum
thread with landclass files for various parts of Europe:

Although I haven't read the entire post above.. Raimondo Taburet has a
selection LC packs, however many of them have ZIP passwords and a
$9.95 reg fee. His servers change often, but if you poke around here:
http://www.fsproject.com/ you can find some useful FREE stuff.

I'd like to get a membership to his site(s) and also to FSGenesis!!
Would like to pick up some SHORES from Raimondo and hack..
I mean install them in FS8.

Lastly.. one can dig into scenery packages and look for landclass
BGL files, but they're usually SMALL in area. I think a LOT can still
be done with LandClass!!

Sorry Ibby.. I seem to go off-track a lot. Also, I really don't buy
payware packages and instead, combine many freely-available
components into the Sim. The URL provided has changed again
with more logins, registrations, limits and signups. It gets confusing
and I didn't find any FREEWARE areas this time. :{

About a year ago, the fsfreeware.com site had LOTS of free
scenery packages. It has morphed sever times since.

Kind of like the Clear Skies Initiative...equals more nitrogen oxide,
more sulfur dioxide, and more mercury.

Sounds like `doublespeak..´ but I'd not want to get tempted
into another OT distraction or rant. :]

Lets look instead at some of the LC packs in your tinyURL.
Here are four that have been downloaded and installed;

[Area.199]
Title=Austria LC
Local=SCENE - Land Class\Austria
Layer=44

[Area.200]
Title=Finnland LC
Local=SCENE - Land Class\Finnland
Layer=47

[Area.201]
Title=France LC
Local=SCENE - Land Class\France
Layer=45

[Area.202]
Title=Italy LC
Local=SCENE - Land Class\Italy
Layer=46

Was having trouble getting a hold of the Norway LC.. mainly because
of difficulty reading Norwegian. Can someone post the Norway LC
download URL?

Norway landclass, see this thread:
