Author Lear Jet 45 Question

In the Lear Jet 45..... is there any way to make the digits on the radio
stack more readable? Even with the room darkened, I can barely read them.
(Often I can't read them at all!)

If you dont like the panel, change it.

Go to:
www.Avsim.com and or www.Flightsim.com and search thru the Library for Lear
in the program you have whether it be FS9 FS2K2 or even an older program.
If your talking about FSX, you can substitute an FS9 panel for it. Sorry,
at this point I know nothing of the next version but I think there were some
comments on how to try and do this in previous threads. Do a Google search
on Panels from this group and see what happens. I think it might have been
Katy Pluta who might have answered this question. You can try a search for
her name in this newsgroup. Might have been either earlier in this week or
later last week.

Gday again Dave
I reckon this has something to do with your monitor settings
as I'm sitting here with the Lear panel open and the digits on the radio
stick out like the proverbial dogs bollocks. Have a fiddle with the
settings menu and see how you go. I'm looking at an LG L1710S LCD screen
but I don't know what monitor you have so can't help with settings.
If the poo hits the fan, just reset to default and start again. You
can't hurt anything.

My apology. My brain was locked on the HSI in the 737. I'll go back and have
a look at the Lear and get back.
In the meantime, I share your problem with the LED radio frequencies in the
Lear. Hard to read, but probably can be fixed. PapaGeorge

I found the Lear either required low thrust to remain level (flying
manually) or excessive trim to prevent it pitching up
