But since half of Miami is without power and my ISP connection doesn't
work I'll not be able to upload the video evidence just yet. I'm pretty
sure this is something not discussed before and that it affects a LOT
of users. specially those with high end machines.

Hi gregory. I don't have broadband yet due to the hurricane knocking
out Comcast. I can only use my phone to browse and it is awfully slow.
If you want to test what I did simply try to get an unmodified Texture
folder (the one in the main fs9 folder) I got it by installing fs9 in
another computer. Then transfered it to my fs9 instalation (I renamed
the existing one so I could test either one) basically when using the
unmodified Texture folder you will NOT experience the micro stutters.
It appears fs9 is fine loading scenery textures from the Scenery
directory, but when doing so from the main Texture folder in the root
fs9 directory it will show some micro stutters when using custom
textures. Why? my guess is that the fs9 engine prioritizes texture
loading when they are in the Scenery folder, but when they are in the
main Texture folder they get loaded first. If a new, custom texture is
bigger than the original one then fs9 will have a harder time drawing
the scenery. This is just my guess, I might be wrong but I solved micro
stutters by simply using the default unmodified Texture folder.
