| Hi everybody,
When my aircraft is being pushed, it always pushes straight back, never
turnes left/right,
although i push the '1' or '2' key.
What am i doing wrong?
Have tryed both the "1" on top of the keyboard and the "1" on the numeric
keyboard ?
Do i need to turn numlock "off" or "on" ?
I'm using a european keyboard (azerty iso qwerty)
thx for your help !!

Press 1 or 2 on the top row immediately after pressing Shift-P. You can't
use them to steer once you are on the move - you need to push back in the
direction you want to go.

| I can only tell you what works for me:
*Before pushback*, get your ground clearance from ATC, decide the
direction you want the tail to face, press 1 or 2, and then push back. If
you wish to change the direction of the tail after initial push, , press
SHIFT P until the plane stops, push 1 or 2 and SHIFT P again. The a/c
should then continue pushing back in the selected direction. I hope this
helps.

| One more thing, it may have a significant delay....mine sure does. Just
when you think it isn't going to turn, there it goes. You have to learn to
time your turns, and like Arthur said, you may have to use the start and
stop a few times coupled with your 1 or 2 to get the turns you want.

| Proper pushback procedure:
Press [Shift] + P, followed immediately by 1 (on the upper keyboard) to turn
the tail to the left, relative to the pilot, or 2 to turn the tail to the
right.
The aircraft will back up a distance equal to it's own length before
beginning to turn.

| Hi Mr. Steve,
Select spot view from dead ahead of the a/c but use the hat switch to
raise the viewpoint so that you can clearly see the apron or rwy behind
the a/c.
Release parking brake, press shift-p and -do not- change your view or
viwpoint until you after you have pressed the 1 or the 2 key to turn the
a/c -and- after you have completed the pushback. Remember that the a/c
will not begin to turn until it has travelled back another plane length.
Press shift-p then set parking brake and change view to cockpit and
start engines.
Regards, Ian.
