Has anyone else noticed that you get pine trees for the Bahamas and the
Caribbean?

Gosh, I've had about 10 vacations down there, not to mention I lived there
for 3 years... and I don't recall seeing too many pine trees.

I'm sick of it at last. Is there a way to change vegetation classes for
tropical forests?

Yep, saw it while I was buzzing around the Bahamas last weekend. I wasn't
happy, but was afraid that I had done something on my system. Glad to hear
it's not me, but still just as unhappy with the trees.

Dallas.....I think you're achieving the coveted award from me as being the
most amusing and interesting poster on this NG. I am becoming one of your
No. 1 fans and must admit that even though I've almost given up tweaking
this 'program with an attitude', I'll always read your posts. Even when
you're serious, you make me smile and to me, that's worth the price of
admission. I guess the pressure's on now, eh varmint? BTW, I'm not gay
(not that there's anything wrong with that) : ))

Hey Dallas.. here's the only FS9 spring tree BMP that could be found
using a search, reduced from 1024x to 400x, and output as a `preview'
JPG described in an earlier post:

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/flightsim/FS9treesSP.jpg

It must be the scenery file that needs editing. Have no experience in
such design. Maybe one of the others can help out. So there's my
2-cents worth!

Gosh Arthur, thanks...

I printed your post and pasted it on the refrigerator.

BTW, I'm not gay either... but if I went to prison for 25 years, I'm sure
you'd make a fine roommate. :-0

I once saw a fellow wearing a t-shirt with this printed on the front:

"I'm not gay but my husband is!"

I recall conversations about default tree classes a year or two ago, but I
wasn't motivated then. I may have to Google it.

Well Arthur.. in all due respect some of us haven't given up tweaking.

On a second note.. the following image of me and CoPilot Tweets was
posted on a Sim forum a couple years ago.. and the admin became
enraged.. then afterwards I got a harsh email about the pic. Maybe
they didn't like girls.. or something!

Yep.. am starting to wear eyeglasses down on the nose more.
Was thinking of getting some spectacles made specifically for
`monitor distance'.. which is at outstretched arms' length with
fingers bent inward at 2nd knuckle.

These glasses are over-prescribed and objects appear smaller.

Oh yes.. another item.. if you have some 2cm cabinet plywood..
perhaps make some monitor stands such that the centre of screen
is directly at eye level. Added benefit is.. a `storage hanger' will
be formed underneath!! Did you see pic of `montior hangers'?

Good lord - I'd be in deep trouble without my "PC Rx" glasses! Main lens is
the same as the meduim range on trifocals, or in my case ~30" (~75cm) so I
can rock back in the chair and still "read the mail", and normal bifocal for
up close & personal stuff..... Also indispensable on the work bench!!
