Author Need someone to do an experiment for me..

I've got a lot of VFR photographic scenery installed, and I noticed recently
that I don't get the helicopter rotorwash dust effects when hovering low
over them. Upon investigation, I've found the effects occur when I'm on
default scenery, but not within the confines of the US airports listed in
the Scenery Library as having an aerial photograph, (default 2004 scenery),
i.e. Chicago O'Hare. (Takeoff from the runway and hover low over the
adjoining grass and see if it kicks up dust or not.)

Could someone test these findings on their installation for me and let me
know if they agree or not? (Preferably someone with a virgin installation,
or at least no add-on scenery.) I'm trying to determine if my installation
is knackered, or if it's in the standard product. i.e. whether effects can
only be displayed if the default scenery is the uppermost layer.

Another side-effect seems to be that whenever I loose the dust effects, I
also loose the audio effects, like the creaking sound of the Bell 206's
undercarriage straining upon a heavy landing.

Thanks,

Si
