ATC doesn't pause long enough

| Is there a way in the cfg file to get the ATC to wait longer in between
transmissions? I do like to have traffic close to 100% but I have a hard
time getting a word in edgewise at times.

I guess it all adds to the realism. I was flying in RL last Saturday from
an airport that normally has gnd, twr and app coverage, but at the weekend
twr covers gnd as well. Many times I had to wait ages for a gap long enough
for me to hit the button and start talking. I think I was one of many with
our fingers on the trigger hoping to be the quickest on the draw!

| Yep, Just like real life. I flew Austin to Dallas Love on Friday afternoon
(for real) and it was almost impossible to get a word in or to reply to
instuctions from Dallas approach control once inside Bravo airspace. Still,
a lot of fun, and the landing at DAL was interesting, parallelling a
Southwest 737 landing on 13L whilst I was heading for 13Rand told to give
best speed to the outermarker and expedited turn-off due to fast traffic
(i.e. another SW 737) on long final.

Don't you want realism?
IRL I've had problems calling in to get flight following on a really
busy day. By the time I received an answer I was so far out I had to
call the next area. That's one of the main reasons I like IFR.

| What gets me is how I am told to 'turn next taxiway' and 'leave the
runway when able' every fifteen seconds after I land. Surely a
real-life "ATC-ler" (?) who got up the pilots' noses like that
wouldn't last long....
BTW, I recall reading a tip which got AI traffic to clear the runway
more quickly than it does by default. Anyone remember what it is?
